  1.                                 LICENCE

  3.   This licence agreement affects all programs, manuals and disks of
  4.   the  editor  package  GoldED  (registered  or unregistered) exept
  5.   files  within  the  support  directory.  Violations of any of the
  6.   topics  below  will  cause this licence to expire, i.e. terminate
  7.   your  rights  to  use  or  otherwise handle (e.g. distribute) the
  8.   package.
  9.  
  10.   You  may - apart from backups for private use - neither copy this
  11.   program,  nor  modify  it  nor  transfer  it to other media. This
  12.   doesn't  apply for the demo version. You may duplicate/distribute
  13.   the  demo  version as long as you don't charge money for it apart
  14.   from  compensation  for  time/media  expenditures.  You  may  not
  15.   distribute the registered version.
  16.      
  17.   You  are not allowed to include the demo version into any kind of
  18.   software  collection  apart  from  the Amiga Library (compiled by
  19.   Fred  Fish)  and BBS file areas without written permission of the
  20.   author. This does apply for CD roms, disk magazines, ... The demo
  21.   version  may  not  be  distributed  as  part  of  a  bundle (e.g.
  22.   bookware, disk magazine).

  24.   The   copyright   owner(s)   reserve   the   right  to  interdict
  25.   distribution at any time if the distributor fails to obey to this
  26.   licence  from  the copyright owner(s) point of view. Profits made
  27.   by  illegal  distribution  have  to  be  passed  to the copyright
  28.   owner(s).
  29.   
  30.   You may not modify the package: do not change the compilation, do
  31.   not  change  (patch) files. The editor might become inoperational
  32.   if you do so.
  33.   
  34.   The  copyright  owner(s) provide this program "as is". The entire
  35.   risk  of  using  this program is with you. The copyright owner(s)
  36.   won't  ever  be  reliable  for damages to you - wether they arise
  37.   from  the  use of this package or the inability to use it, wether
  38.   they  are direct or consequential, including, but not limited to,
  39.   the loss of data or the generation of inaccurate data.
